Sais

• Sais refers to Sais, Egypt (modern Ṣā al-Ḥaǧar), the chief city of the 5th Lower Egyptian nome, located in the western half of the Nile Delta. It was of greatest importance in the Late Period, when it was the capital of the Twenty-sixth dynasty of Egypt.
