Rosenheim

Rosenheim is a town in Bavaria (Germany) on the river Inn. It is seat of administration of the district of Rosenheim, but is not a part of it. In 1234, Rosenheim was mentioned for the first time as a market. In the town live approximately 60,000 inhabitants, the surroundings cover about 125,000. It is 450 meters above sea level and covers an area of 37.52 km². Twin cities: Lazise (Italy) since 1979 and Brianon (France) since 1974.
