rose maddox

Rose Maddox (born August 15, 1926 in Boaz, Alabama, and died April 16, 1998 in Ashland, Oregon) was an American country singer. She is known as "The Original Hillbilly Filly" and "The Grandmother of Rockabilly". She was the singer for what was known as "the greatest hillbilly band of all time" - The Maddox Brothers and Rose.
