Ron Fricke

Ron Fricke is an American film director and cinematographer who was the director of photography on Godfrey Reggio's -qatsi trilogy of films (Koyaanisqatsi, Powaqqatsi, and Naqoyqatsi). Fricke's credits also include Baraka. Fricke is considered a master of the 70mm film format and also of time-lapse photography (see his film Chronos). He designed and used his own 70mm camera equipment for Baraka and his later projects.
