Roger Cotes

Roger Cotes (Burbage, Leicestershire July 10, 1682June 5, 1716 in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire was a mathematician. Roger Cotes is known for working closely with Isaac Newton by proofreading his famous book Principia before publication. He also invented the quadrature formulas known as Newton-Cotes formulas.
