Robert Smith (Bbc)Sir Robert Smith (born 8 August 1944) was a BBC Governor with responsibility for Scotland. Appointed in August 1999 in 2003 he became Chairman of BBC Children in Need and his term of office as National Governor was extended to July 2007.
