Richard L. Schmalensee

Richard L. Schmalensee is the John C. Head III Dean, and Professor of Management and Economics, at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He holds a joint appointment with the Department of Economics at MIT. Dean Schmalensee is an expert on regulation and antitrust policy, and is known for serving on the President's Council of Economic Advisors as well as his testimony in the Microsoft anti-trust trials. He holds an SB and PhD in Economics from MIT.
