Rhn

In the fiction of J. R. R. Tolkien, Rhn is a large region of eastern Middle-earth. Rhn is a name used for all lands lying east Rhovanion, around and beyond the inland Sea of Rhn. Dorwinion lay in Rhn, and the Easterlings of the Balchoth and Wainriders lived there. Rhn was conquered by Gondor two times: under the Kings Rmendacil I and Rmendacil II, but the Nmenreans never had full control over it. Rhn was finally subdued in the Fourth Age under King Elessar and his son Eldarion.
