Reflecting Pool

In Washington, D.C., the Reflecting Pool is a shallow pool of water that lies between the World War II Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial, adjacent to the National Mall and the Washington Monument. It has a depth of approximately a foot (~ 30 cm). The Washington Monument is reflected in the pool. The Reflecting Pool is approximately 2,300 feet long and 150 feet wide.
