Ravi (God)

According to Hinduism, Ravi is Surya, the Sun. He is one of the Adityas. By this practice, Sunday is known as Ravivar in India. In Kerala, Sunday is called as Njayar, again a synonym for "sun". This god's full name is Ravikarin, which means "rays of the sun." See Also:
