Rave MasterRave Master, known in Japan as RAVE (レイヴ) or Groove Adventure Rave, is an anime and manga series by Hiro Mashima. The manga, first published in Japan by Kodansha, consists of 24 issues. The anime consists of 51 episodes, which were broadcasted on TBS from October 13, 2001 to September 28, 2002. The show premiered on Cartoon Network in the United States under the title Rave Master on May 1, 2004. The story begins in the year 0000 when the 'Dark Bring' threatened the world, a Rave Master approaches it and manages to slice it in half with his sword, little did he know that he did not completely destroyed the Dark Bring and a huge explosion known as the 'Overdrive' destroyed one-tenth of the world. And after that, the Holy Bring or 'Rave' was separated and flew to then four corners of the world. 50 years has passed. Haru Glory, a young teenager living on the peaceful Garage Island, was passing his time fishing. He stumbles upon a wierd creature which has a small white body, small dot-like eyes and a huge 'drill-like' nose. He named it Shabutaro at first until he bumps into Shiba, the Rave master who attempted the destroy the 'Dark Bring' 50 years ago, saw the creature and called it 'Plue'. Haru was confused why Shiba called him that. The latter explained that 'Plue' was actually his companion and also a Rave warrior. Soon, a member from Demon Card found Shiba and demanded him to hand over Rave. Shiba refused and tried to retaliate by using Rave's power. Unfortunately, it failed and Shiba was shot by the enemy's gun. Shiba gave Haru the Holy Bring and told him to run away. Haru refused and with Rave in his hand he punches the Demon Card member, causing an explosion upon impact while sending of the enemy into the air. After the enemy was defeated, Shiba was shocked by what he saw and made a conclusion, Haru was actually the Rave Master's Successor. Hence, Haru decides to search for the other pieces of Rave to defeat the Dark Bring which hidden itself for the past 50 years. And from here, his journey begins. He confronts many other warriors with Dark Brings and destroys them, meanwhile collecting raves at the same time. His sword is destroyed at one time and later meets up with the creator, Musica, of the 'Ten Powers' Sword and gets it fixed while fighting a spirit releasing Dark Bring... TOKYOPOP publishes the anime and manga in English in the United States. Rave Master first aired on the Toonami programming block of Cartoon Network in North America, but recently was transfered to Miguzi's Saturday evening slot. Cast Heroes - Haru Glory

Shadow Guard/Demon Card - King/Gale Raregrove: A old friend of Gale Glory, the two set up the Shadow Guard. But soon after Glory left, Raregroove turned the ShjadowGuard into a terroist group. It was only when his family was indirectly killed by Glory's intent to stop him that King swore the ultimate revenge: Killing Glory's wife & putting into his body the item that would become the Ultimate Shadow Stone.
