Raf Barkston Heath

RAF Barkston Heath is a Royal Air Force station near Grantham, Lincolnshire. RAF Barkston Heath was opened in 1941 and was used by the 61st Troop Carrier Group of the United States Army Air Force. Currently it is home to the Joint Elementary Flying Training School, which provides elementery flying training for Royal Navy and Army Air Corps students as well as the RAF.
