Quebec Conference

Several meetings held at Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, are called the Quebec Conference. The Quebec Conference of 1864 was the second conference to discuss Canada's confederation, which was finally accomplished three years later. The Quebec Conference of 1943 and 1944 were top-level meetings between the United States, Canada and Britain to plan strategy in World War II. Quebec City also hosted the Summit of the Americas in 2001, discussing the Free Trade Area of the Americas; these were targeted by massive anti-globalization protests.
