Pygtk

PyGTK is a set of Python wrappers for the GTK GUI library. PyGTK is free software and licensed under the LGPL. Its original author is famous GNOME hacker James Henstridge, but today there are six people in the team that maintains the bindings. Plus a countless number of other helpers that has submitted patches and bugreports. Developers and interested parties usually hang out in the IRC channel #pygtk on irc.gnome.org. The current stable release of PyGTK is 2.4.1 PyGTK has been used in a number of successful applications, some examples:
