Punt And Dennis

Punt and Dennis are a comedy double act consisting of Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis. Together they are the modern workhorses of British comedy; Punt in particular has a very long list of writing credits. They shot to public attention with the hugely popular and acclaimed Mary Whitehouse Experience. However, whilst the other Whitehouse pair, Rob Newman and David Baddiel went on to play the largest comedy gig ever at Wembley Arena, the less glamorous Punt and Dennis were not invited to the ball. Their own TV series, The Imaginatively Titled Punt and Dennis Show, was never as popular as Whitehouse. They currently have a successful and long running satirical series called The Now Show running on BBC Radio 4 as well as a weekly round-up show on Radio 2, "It's Been a Bad Week".
