Prolegomena To Any Future Metaphysics

The Prolegomena to any Future Metaphysics is one of the smaller works by the German philosopher Immanuel Kant. It was published in 1783, two years after the Critique of Pure Reason. The Prolegomena are meant to serve as an introductory or, more precisely, a preparatory course to Kant's epistemology which is laid out more thoroughly in the Critique of Pure Reason. Its approach is explanatory and analytical, while the Critique derives the theory "synthetically".
