Projectusa

ProjectUSA was founded in 1999 by Craig Nelson, a former Manhattan restaurateur. Nelson states that he started ProjectUSA after his "eyes were opened to the severe problems associated with overpopulation and the dangerous naivete of Western universalists during a two year stint living in China." ProjectUSA states that it "is a nonprofit social advocacy group based in Washington, DC and dedicated to raising public debate about the important issue of mass immigration. We advocate
    1. ending illegal immigration, 2. reducing legal immigration to traditional, sustainable levels, and 3. a ten year time-out while the country reassesses immigration in terms of the long-term consequences of present policy."
