Professor BirchProfessor Birch (Odamaki-Hakase in the original Japanese version), is a character in the world of Pokmon. He is considered the "Pokmon Professor" in the Hoenn region. Unlike other Pokmon scientists, he is known for his field work, rather than, in his own words, remain "cooped up in my lab all day". He is also responsible for giving new Pokmon trainers one of the three Hoenn starter Pokmon, Treecko, Mudkip, and Torchic. See also External link Birch, Professor
