Princess Dsire, Baroness SilfverschildPrincess Dsire, Baroness Silfverschild (Dsire Elisabeth Sibylla) (born 2 June 1938), was born at Haga Palace outside Stockholm. She is the third child of Prince Gustaf Adolf, Duke of Westrobothnia, and Princess Sibylla of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, and granddaughter of King Gustav VI Adolf of Sweden. Princess Dsire's engagement to Baron Niclas Silfverschild was announced on 18 December 1963, and the couple married the next year on 5 June 1964 in Storkyrkan in Stockholm. As a result of her marriage, she lost her style HRH. Princess Dsire, Baroness Silfverschild lives on the Silfvershild family's castle Koberg. She tries to stay out of the public eye, but when she is asked she often accepts the official engagements (which occur one or a few times a year). Princess Dsire, Baroness Silfverschild and her husband are every now and then invited to the official dinners that The King and Queen hosts, and sometimes also to the dinner connected to state visits to Sweden. Princess Dsire, Baroness Silfverschild is Crown Princess Victoria's godmother. Princess Dsire, Baroness Silfverschild's marriage has produced three children: - Carl Otto Edmund Silfverschild (b. 1965)
