Preston is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the City of Darebin. The High Street area in Preston forms the central shopping district, with supermarkets, restaurants and cafes, bakeries, post office and council office facilities all nearby. The Preston Market is located in the same area. Indian, Turkish, and Chinese cuisines all feature on the main street. A regular bus service operates that travels to both Coburg and the Northland shopping centre.
