Poul NielsenPoul "Tist" Nielsen (born December 25, 1891; died August 9, 1962) is a former Danish football (soccer) player, the all-time leading scorer for the Danish national team. Although Nielsen played in the 1910s and 20s, the 52 goals (in only 38 matches) he scored for his country still stands as the national record. Because his career spanned the nascent years of international football, he never got a chance to play in the World Cup; his only apperance at the world stage came in the 1912 Summer Olympics, when Denmark won a silver medal. On the club level, Nielsen played for KB Kbenhavn, and won the Danish championship six times. Nielsen, Poul Nielsen, Poul Nielsen, Poul
