flew on a
Colgan Air

) jet from Portland to
Logan International Airport

Boston
. From there, he hijacked
American Airlines Flight 11
and crashed it into

World Trade Center
. In late 2002, American Eagle left the Portland Jetport, one of its few remaining northeast destinations.
