Polder Model
Polder Model
is the name given to decision making in the
Netherlands
whereby heated discussion is followed by unanimous agreement. A
polder
is a low lying piece of land, by definition in constant risk of flooding. To keep this from happening it is necessary to agree on the best way to do it. Without unanimous agreement the polder cannot be maintained.
