Places That Don't Exist

Places That Don't Exist is a five part BBC2 series on breakaway states and unrecognised nations, devised, written and presented by Simon Reeve. The series took Reeve to little-known parts of the world including Somaliland, Transniestria, Nagorno-Karabkh, Ajaria, South Ossetia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Somalia, Moldova, Taiwan, and the former Soviet republic of Georgia. The series is due to be broadcast on BBC2 in May 2005, and on BBC World later the same year.
