Pieces Of April

Pieces of April is a 2003 movie written and directed by Peter Hedges. It stars Katie Holmes, Patricia Clarkson, Oliver Platt, Derek Luke and Sean Hayes. Holmes plays a girl living in New York City who invites her dysfunctional family to her small apartment for a disastrous Thanksgiving Day dinner. Patricia Clarkson was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. It is a low-budget independent film shot in a digital camera. Tagline: She's the one in every family.
