Peugeot 107
is a minicar developed by PSA Group (
Peugeot
Citron
) in a joint-venture with Japanese group
Toyota
Motor Corporation. It is a four-seater, two- or four-door
hatchback
city car
measuring less than 35 m in length, and is expected to start selling from spring
2005
. The 107 replaces the
106
, which ceased production at the end of
2003
after 12 years on sale. The
Citron C1
and
Toyota Aygo
are
badge-engineered
versions of the same car for the other brands involved in the deal. They are built at the new facilities of the
TPCA
joint-venture (Toyota Peugeot Citron Automobile) in the city of
Kolin
, in the
Czech Republic
.
