Peter Brimelow

Peter Brimelow (born 1947) is a British-American journalist especially prolific in the area of the stock market and investment. He has also written, controversially, on immigration policy. Brimelow has written for the Financial Post, Forbes and National Review. His books include The Wall Street Gurus: How You Can Profit from Investment Newsletters, Alien Nation: Common Sense About America's Immigration Disaster and The Worm In The Apple: How The Teacher Unions Are Destroying American Education and The Patriot Game: Canada and the Canadian Question Revisited . Alien Nation deals with immigration policy and the influx of illegal aliens as well as legal immigrants. The Worm in the Apple discusses the adverse effects of public education and teachers' unions on American youth. Brimelow maintains that America's cultural homogeneity and way of life is threatened by unrestricted Third World immigration. Although he is nominally a neoconservative, Brimelow's views on immigration are welcomed by paleoconservatives. His nonprofit organization Center for American Unity and online journal VDARE.com showcase articles on immigration policy and related topics.
