Paul Mariner

Paul Mariner (born May 22, 1953 in Bolton) is an English ex-footballer. In his club career, spanning from 1973 to 1988, he played for Plymouth Argyle, Ipswich Town, Arsenal, and the England national team. He moved to the United States, finished out his career with the Albany Capitals of the old APSL. Mariner has been coaching in the country since, first as an assistant coach at Harvard University, and currently at the New England Revolution behind Steve Nicol.
