Paradise KissParadise Kiss is a series of manga that was published in a magazine called Zipper, a fashion magazine for high-teens. This was written by one of the most popular comic authors in Japan, Ai Yazawa. This manga was widely read by the young people since it includes a lot of influential feelings the young people tend to have, such as passion, anger, pleasure, jealousy and sadness. This story is a mixture of emotions and that is why this story was familiar with a number of teenagers, especially girls. This comic is widely read not only in Japan, but also in the world. Paradise Kiss has been translated from Japanese to at least six different languages, Chinese (Taiwan and Hong Kong), Korean, Italian, Polish, Thai, and English. The English version is published by TokyoPop. The characters Yukari Hayasaka - A high school student who is tired of her meaningless and repetitive life George Koizumi - A weird but handsome man who has an extraordinary talent as a designer and is a student of Yazagaku. Miwako Kouda - A student of Yazagaku who works with George to run their own brand "Paradise Kiss" Arashi - Miwako's boyfriend and a student of Yazagaku who also work with George to run Paradise Kiss Isabella - A mysterious student from Yazagaku and is friend of George since childhood Hiroyuki Tokumori - Yukari's classmate Story Yukari Hayasaka attends a high school where the only focus for students is on good grades, and she is tired of her routine life. One day Yukari meets Arashi who is looking for a girl model for a fashion show held at their school. George Koizumi, Arashi, Miwako Kouda and Isabella delightedly invite Yukari to become their model and win the Grand Prize in the fashion show. At first, Yukari is irritated by them, but she is actually jealous of them because they have a specific dream while she does not. She finally accepts their invitation and becomes their model as she slowly starts to fall in love with George. Other adventures soon unravel for this heroine.
