Pappu Sain

Pappu Sain is a master dhol (traditional Indian drum) player in Pakistan. He frequently plays at the Tomb of Shah Jamal in Lahore, Pakistan, where he performs every Thursday without fail. He has taken his Sufi-style of drumming to Germany, Switzerland, and Britain, and has performed throughout the Muslim world. Shah Jamal, a 19th century saint, also used the drum and the dance to perpetuate Islam.
