Pala

Pala is a village in the Jgeva County, Estonia, the center of the municipality of Pala. The population of the village is 247 (2000). In Pala there are a school, a musical school, a library and a cultural centre. It was first mentioned in 1582 as Pallawes.

Municipality

The rural municipality of Pala is located in the east of the Jgeva County. Its area is 156.71 km² and its population is 1369 (as of 2003).
