Pablo Chinchilla

Pablo Chinchilla (born December 21, 1978 in San Jos, Costa Rica) is a Costa Rican soccer defender, who currently plays for the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer. Prior to coming to the Galaxy, Chinchilla played for LD Alajuelense, winning the CONCACAF Champions' Cup in 2004. He played for the Costa Rican national team on various youth levels, and was a late addition to their 2002 World Cup squad, replacing the injured Reynaldo Parks. As of early 2005, he has been capped 29 times for his country.
