Olympic Stadium, Berlin

The Olympic Stadium (German: Olympiastadion) in Berlin, designed by German architect Werner March, was constructed between 1934 and 1936 for the 1936 Summer Olympics. It replaced the German Stadium designed by Werner's father Otto March. It was being refurbished for the Football World Cup 2006 until mid-2004. It now offers a capacity of 74,400 seats. It is currently the home of Hertha BSC Berlin and Berlin Thunder, a NFL Europe football club.
