Nur Fr Deutsche

Nur fr Deutsche (German: "For Germans only"): during World War II, in many German-occupied countries, signs bearing this admonition were posted at entrances to parks, cafes, cinemas, theaters and other facilities reserved for Germans. In German-occupied Poland, racial segregation was nearly complete. In streetcars and trains, the first car was usually reserved for German administrative and military personnel, Nazi party members, and German civilians. All other nationalities — regarded as Untermenschen — were to use the remaining car(s).
