Numitor

In Roman mythology, King Numitor of Alba Longa, son of Procas, was the father of Rhea Silvia. He was overthrown by his brother, Amulius. His grandsons, however, Romulus and Remus, reinstated him after killing Amulius. Livy I, 3; Virgil VI, 768.
