Nuevo Laredo

Nuevo Laredo is a city in the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico. It stands on the border with the United States, connected to Laredo, Texas, across the Rio Grande (Rio Bravo) river by three international bridges. The city is larger than its U.S. counterpart, but is younger, having been established after the state of Texas broke away from Mexico. It is the largest inland port in Mexico, as is its American counterpart. Crossing the border from north to south costs USD $0.25 and, from south to north, $0.35. Many restaurants close to the border in Nuevo Laredo offer food at very reasonable prices, and there is a large open air market nearby.

Boy's Town

Boy's Town is a section of Nuevo Laredo which has as its main purpose providing American tourists with prostitution. It receives some Mexican business as well. Boy's Town is a walled-in area containing six streets which consist of brothels, restaurants, bars, stores, a police station and a medical station. Additionally, there is a donkey show performed there.
