The Northern Territory Police have legal jurisdication over the Northern Territory of Australia. The Northern Territory Police service has 760 Police, 52 Constable Recruits, 122 Auxiliaries and 53 Aboriginal Community Police Officers, including unpaid members (December 2003). Police in the Northern Territory are part of a "Tri-Service": the Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Service.
