North Woolwich Railway Station
North Woolwich station
is a railway station in

forming the eastern terminus of the main route of the
North London Line
. The next station to the west is
Silvertown
. It is in
Travelcard Zone 3
. North Woolwich station was opened on 14 June 1847. The original station buildings and one of the two platforms are now occupied by the
North Woolwich Old Station Museum
. Adjacent to the station, there is a
foot tunnel
across the
River Thames
, and the northern terminal of the
Woolwich Free Ferry
, leading to central
Woolwich
. The station is likely to close after the
DLR
is extended to
London City Airport
and
Woolwich Arsenal
.
