Noah Wyle

Noah Strausser Speer Wyle (born June 4, 1971) is best known for his role as Dr. John Carter on the television drama ER. As of June 2004, the show has completed its tenth season, with Wyle the only major cast member to have been with the show since its inception. His performances on the show have earned him Emmy Award nominations in each of its first five seasons, and (as part of an ensemble) several Screen Actors Guild Awards and nominations. Wyle recently announced his intention to leave the series at the end of the 2004-2005 season, although he will return for four episodes in each of the next two seasons. Wyle was born in Hollywood, California, as one of six children. Attended The Thacher School, class of 1989. He is married and has a son. Aside from ER, Wyle's credits include:
