No. 100 Group Raf

No. 100 Group was a specialised formation with Bomber Command. It was formed on 3 December, 1943 out of the need to concentrate the increasingly complex business of electronic warfare in one organisation. It developed many of the devices that followed the work of Window in disrupting the German defences during Bomber Command attacks. It did not long survive the war, being disbanded on 17 December 1945. During its existence it had one commander, Air Vice-Marshal Edward Addison. 100
