Nishi-tokyo, Tokyo

Nishitōkyō (西東京市; -shi) is a city located in Tokyo, Japan. As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 185,078 and the density of 11,676.85 persons per km². The total area is 15.85 km². The city was founded on January 21, 2001. Before that date, the area was two separate cities Hoya and Tanashi.
