Niko Kovac

Niko Kovač (born October 15, 1971 in Berlin) is a Croatian football player. He plays as a midfielder with the Croatian national team, often as the captain of the team, and also for Hertha BSC Berlin in the German Bundesliga. This is Kovac's second stint with Hertha, having been there from 1991 to 1996. He also played for Bayer Leverkusen (1996-99), Hamburg (1999-2001), and Bayern Munich (2001-03).
