Nick Bollettieri

Nicholas James Bollettieri (b. July 31, 1931 in Pelham, New York) is credited with developing many world-class tennis champions. Among these are Andre Agassi, Boris Becker, Jim Courier, Anna Kournikova, Monica Seles, Venus Williams, Serena Williams and, recently, Maria Sharapova the winner of the 2004 Ladies' Singles Wimbledon Championships. The Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy (NBTA) is located on a 190 acre campus in Bradenton on the west coast of Florida, about fifty miles south of Tampa.
