Network Analyst

The term "Network Specialist"/"Network Analyst" is often used for a junior System or Network Administrator - who may or may not be apprenticed to a more experienced System or Network Admininstrator. Most often, "Network Specialist" refers someone who, due to their strong technical expertise in one aspect of IT, such as loading Microsoft Office applications, is given the job of dealing with all computer and network issues. In some cases, the title "Network Specialist" is used by an employer to lower a post pay scales, rather than applying the title "Network Administrator" or "System Administrator". A Network Specialist's work usually includes:
     * routine End User system maintenance * first level helpdesk duties (sometimes refered to as being a "Script Reader") * Moving PC's between cubicles
And depending on work environment, up to and including all the normal duties a Network/System Administrator has.
