Necromunda

Necromunda is a war game produced by Games Workshop. Necromunda is set in the vast 'Hive City' which covers the world of the same name from the Warhammer 40,000 universe. The board is set out like a heavily polluted city scape and the players control gangs of no more than a dozen models over this land scape. Unlike Warhammer 40,000 Necromunda focuses on how your gang develops and grows in campaign style play. Necromunda stands out from other similar games by Games Workshop by the way the table is laid out. In most Games Workshop games the table is mostly flat, with the only terrain features being a few hills, trees, and maybe a bridge or a building. However in Necromunda you can play in large buildings which may have many floors. There are other terrains such as chemical wastelands, abandoned factories, and other dystopian environments that have a larger amount of variety in terrain. Games Workshop's specialist games division occasionally publishes new rules on their website
