National Solidarity Party

The National Soildarity Party is a centrist party in Singapore.It was formed in 1987 by a group of middle-class businessman and women.It has contested the elections since 1988 and has not yet won a seat.Its previous leader is Tan Chee Kien.It is currently led by Steve Chia,who is currently the Non-Constituency Member of Parliament(NCMP) and finished as the best opposition loser in the 2001 General Elections.The National Soildarity Party aims for a free and democratic Singapore.It supports National Service and on foreign policy it is largerly similar to the one by the People's Action Party(PAP).
