National Gallery Of Jamaica

The National Gallery of Jamaica, in Kingston, Jamaica, is Jamaica's prime and most important art collection, housed at a part of Kingston called Kingston Mall. The gallery houses several important artworks, mostly by artists from Jamaica, and among them particularly Edna Manley (mother of former Prime Minister Michael Manley), whose most important work, The Ghetto Mother, decorates the lobby of the Gallery. Another feature is a statue of Bob Marley by Christopher Gonzalez.
