Nathanael

In the New Testament, Nathanael (נתנאל "Gift of/is God", Standard Hebrew Nətanʾel, Tiberian Hebrew Nəṯanʾēl) is a Galilean called by Jesus to be a disciple, see John 1:45-50 and 21:2. Most authorities regard him as the same man who is called Bartholomew in Acts 1:13 and in the Synoptic Gospels. See Bar. Nathanael means God has given.
