Nassau Stakes

The Nassau Stakes is a Group 1 United Kingdom flat racing horse race for fillies aged three years old and above run over a distance of 1 mile 1 furlongs and 192 yards at Goodwood Racecourse during July. (worth 200,000 in 2004). The name of the race originated from the friendship between Charles Lennox, 5th Duke of Richmond and Lennox and the House of Orange-Nassau. It gained Group 1 status in 1999.
