Municipalities Of Slovenia

Slovenia is divided into 193 municipalities (občine, singular - občina), of which 11 have urban status (marked with †). Slovene language is an official language of all municipalities. Hungarian is an official language of 3 municipalities on the far east of the country: Dobrovnik (Dobrnak), Hodoš (Hodos) and Lendava (Lendva). Italian is an official language of 3 municipalities on the eastern Littoral Region: Izola (Isola), Koper (Capodistria) and Piran (Pirano).
